Mr. Munirathna

Mr. Munirathna is a politician and film producer. He was born in Kodandaramapura, Malleshwaram in Bangalore, Karnataka, on July 23, 1964.

Mr. Munirathna started out as a contractor and then as producer in the movie business and has worked on a number of popular Kannada films. He has been involved with the Kannada cinema industry for more than 25 years and has made a substantial contribution to its expansion and advancement.

In addition to leading a successful career in the film industry, Mr. Munirathna was elected as a BBMP Corporator for Yeshwanthpur Ward No. 37 in 2010. Since 2013, he has served as a member of the Legislative Assembly for Karnataka, representing the prestigious Rajarajeshwari Nagar constituency in Bengaluru. He was the Karnataka Minister of State for Horticulture, Plan Monitoring and Statistics in 2021.

Mr. Munirathna is well renowned for his charitable endeavours and has taken part in numerous social causes. He has demonstrated a strong commitment to assisting the educational and medical institutions in his constituency and has started a number of initiatives to improve the lives of the less fortunate. He is well-known for his social efforts and is regarded as a significant figure in Karnataka’s political scene.
